Fathers of the Church

Where will we thus find, with certainty, the truths relating to Christ and his kingdom? Who will teach us the plain truth relating to it? The key stone of divine teaching is the Bible, indeed!. It is the inspired God s’ Word, and the only work which have authority for Christians.

But some will say, how to be sure that when the Bible is read the way of the writings is not twisted (2Timothée 3,16)? Doesn't make it to say another thing that it really say? There are so many of contradictory lesson, and that even within the Christian churches. How to know to distinguish the good of bad?

To this question, we can answer by quoting this word of wisdom of Ireneus, who speaking about the pastors of his time wrote: “This is why we should listen to the presbyters which are in the church, they are the successors of the apostles… If it rose a controversy on some question of tiny importance, would it be preferable to request the oldest churches, those where the apostles lived to receive the exact answer of it? ” (1Timothée 5,17).

This is why, if we do not want to be deceive by apostate lessons, let us do what made the churches of the first century for their profit. Diligently let us study the Word of God as being inspired by him, and examine the writings of the Christians of the primitive church, to ensure us that our teaching does not twist for our misfortune the Holy text.
